A common question i get asked is “how long can pure emu oil last…” The answer to that is because it is a oil it can last a long long time… Although it is recommended to keep out of sunlight. If you want the oil to be as fresh as possible you can put in the fridge, where it can be for many years…
When storing in the fridge the oil tends to become thick, if it becomes to thick it is because it has gotten to cold, in future keep in like the cooler part of the fridge. To remedy it when it is thick simply run outside of bottle under warm water for a few minutes and it should go back to a more runny moisturiser substance.
Its the opposite if it becomes to runny it is usually because it has been to exposed to warmth… Put emu oil the fridge for a while and back to normal…
