Recently I got asked the question from a customer – Does Emu Oil Spoil..? So in this post i thought i would share my answer to all our customers and readers at Emu Store. As like anything, nothing lasts forever, however with our Emu Oil it can last a long time.. The average safe life expectancy for our oil is about 18 months give or take. Plenty of time, yeah.. However there is a few ways to keep it fresh for longer.
How to Keep Our Emu Oil -
1. By itself, Emu Oil will last a long time if kept out of heat. Do not place in direct sunlight or near anything that will heat the oil..
2. Keep Oil in the fridge.. Remember though, oil thickens in the fridge.. To solve this just leave for a few hours, then give the bottle a gentle shake and it will become less thick..
3. The best place to put Emu Oil is in a cool cupboard like any other cooking oil or Skin Care product..
4. Keep away from Chemicals based products..
Okay so, in answer to does Emu Oil spoil..? THE best i can answer is that it can, but it will take a long time..
